The state of Vermont offers the following two programs to help make telephone service more affordable for households with low income.
- Lifeline Telephone Service Credit - this program helps with the ongoing cost of maintaining your phone service.
- Link-Up Vermont - this program helps with the initial cost of getting phone service connected.
Residential customers who qualify may be eligible for a monthly fee reduction on their telephone rates.
