Make sure your computer is directly connected to your modem with an ethernet cable (the yellow cord that came with the modem) It is possible to make this change while connected to your wireless network, but could lead to some complications.

Open your internet browser and clear the address bar at the top. Type the modem’s IP address, as shown below, then press Enter on your keyboard

A window requesting a login will appear. Type the word admin (all lowercase) in both the username and password fields, and click OK or Login
1. Click WIRELESS on the upper left side of the screen, that will drop down more menu choices
2. Click on ADVANCED
The following page will load.
1. Click on the Channel field and choose a new channel
2. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and Click Apply
You are now ready to test the new channel.
