How do I check my spam?
If spam has been caught by GreyMail, you will receive a Daily Digest email with a summary of your spam and a link to access it. You can also log into your account at any time to check your spam or manage your spam settings (see next question)
How do I manually check my spam or manage my spam settings?
To access your spam dashboard, do either of the following:
– From the Daily Digest email that you receive, click on the My Account link at the top right
– From the webmail login page, enter your email address and password, then click the GO TO SPAM button
How long does my spam remain in GreyMail?
Everything older than 35 days is automatically deleted
How can I change how often I receive the Daily Digest email?
The delivery frequency can be set to daily, weekly, monthly, or never. By default, the Daily Digest is set to daily. Once you are logged into the GreyMail dashboard, click the Settings tab and choose your preferred notification option. Please note: You will only receive the Daily Digest if there are spam messages caught by the filter for your account. If you don’t have any spam messages for that day/week/month, you will not receive the Daily Digest
How do I release an email I want that has been caught in spam?
From the Daily Digest, you can highlight the message you want to see and click the View button. Or, once you have clicked View, you will see options displayed at the bottom. From the GreyMail dashboard, click the Messages tab, highlight the message you want, then click Release and it will be forwarded to your inbox
How can I block specific emails from coming to my inbox?
From GreyMail dashboard, click on the Policies tab, scroll down to where it says Enemies, type the email address in the field and then click the green plus (+) sign. To remove an email address, click on the email address and then click the red X
How can I make sure I always receive emails from a specific sender?
From the GreyMail dashboard, click on the Policies tab, scroll down to where it says Friends, type the email address in the field and click the plus (+) sign. To remove an email address, click on the address and then click the red X
How does GreyMail identify potential spam?
Identifying spam is a tricky process, and no system is perfect. Spammers are constantly refining their techniques to get around spam filters, so some spam does occasionally get through. GreyMail identifies spam based on a combination of techniques, but the details are not available for everyone to see. After all, if the techniques were public knowledge, that would give spammers and other bad guys an advantage
