Service Interruptions Due to Seasonal Sun Interference

Please be advised, beginning in late September and continuing through the middle of October, disturbances to signal reception may occur when the sun passes directly behind a satellite. The intense energy of the sun overpowers the signal from the satellite. You may experience anything from slight signal degradation to complete signal loss. This usually lasts less than a few minutes, and occurs in the afternoon. Exact dates and times of these outages depend on your geographical location and satellite viewed.
