Local Measured Service
Local calls are categorized as two types of calls: those calls that remain within the home exchange and those calls to other local exchanges. (View local calling exchanges.) The local rates are as follows:

Note: The maximum allowable residential monthly charges per line for Mad River Valley customers is $13.00 for local calls to 496/583 exchanges only and $15.00 for all other local exchanges. The maximum allowable monthly charge per line for Champlain Valley customers is $28.00 for residential service. The maximum allowable monthly charge per line for Waitsfield Telecom business customers is $20.00 for local calls to 496/583 exchanges and $42.00 for all other exchanges. The maximum allowable monthly charge per line for Champlain Valley Telecom business customers is $38.00 for single line service and $62.00 for multi-line service.
